“No man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a sick child.”

Hunter Valley Shrine Club are proud to support

John Hunter Children’s Hospital

Who we are.

Hunter Valley Shriners are a group of Freemasons, along with our families and friends, from the Hunter Valley region of NSW, Australia.  We aim to serve the region by raising much-needed funds for the John Hunter Children’s Hospital and having some fun along the way!

You don’t need to be a Mason to get involved.  Everyone is welcome to our social events and fundraisers, as well as our Ceremonial meetings.

The doors are never closed at a Shriners event!

Annual General Meeting

The Hunter Valley Shrine Club held its first AGM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the East Maitland Masonic Centre — a great milestone for the club.

We welcomed in our new officers for the 2025/2026 term and had a wonderful afternoon of fun and friendship together.

We congratulate and look forward to working with the new team and can’t wait to see how the club progresses this year.

“Not every Mason is a Shriner, but every Shriner is a Mason!”

Shriners are obligated to uphold the core tenets of Freemasonry; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

Visit the United Grand Lodge of NSW & ACT to learn more about Freemasonry.
